The Unitor Fire Detection and Fire Alarm systems use technology from the world's leading fire detection companies to deliver advanced, microprocessor-based conventional and addressable fire detection systems to the maritime market. The systems can be used for all types of marine vessels and offshore structures.


The system range includes optical smoke detectors, heat detectors, flame detectors, panels, manual call points, I/O modules and alarm devices. The equipment is also suitable for use in hazardous areas. For general use, smoke detectors are recommended. Where the environment is smoky and dirty under normal conditions, a heat detector may be more appropriate. Where there is a potential for rapid development of fire, such as flammable liquids, a flame detector is a better solution.
