The SeaFLIR 230 is a member of the FLIR family of 9” gimballed turrets. Representing the very latest in sensor technology, the lightweight SeaFLIR 230 condenses extremely high performance surveillance and targeting capability into a compact, low mass and versatile system.
Developed to exploit the full advantages of FLIR sensor and packaging technologies, the SeaFLIR 230 features the same thermal imager with a high sensitivity 640 x 480 InSb (3-5μm) Focal Plane Array (FPA) and 18 x zoom (NFOV of 1.2°). Similarly, the imager also features a daylight camera, providing both day and low light (near Infrared) capabilities. The SeaFLIR 230 provides a very significant increase in maritime surveillance capability, and is designed to cope with the most arduous maritime environments and sets a new benchmark in capability, versatility and price.
